The goal of the CareerEdge Funders Collaborative Manatee & Sarasota is to make targeted investments in specific industry sectors that will support the movement of at least 300 people into promising, career-oriented jobs, support at least 10 area employers in their efforts to train and advance employees into middle skill jobs, serve as a regional knowledge resource – conducting research and impact assessments and publishing findings that inform regional workforce development strategies -- and stimulate greater regional planning and cooperation.

Workforce Central aims to transform workforce development in this rural region by implementing a dual customer strategy that aims to achieve the ultimate outcome of everyone in greater south Wood County who wants to work, has ample opportunities to prepare for and secure a family sustaining job, and advance in a career over time.

The Dan River Region Collaborative (DRRC) seeks to increase the number of families and individuals in Southern Virginia who have a level of economic security.

The San Diego Workforce Funders Collaborative (SDWFC) was founded in 2006 as a public/private partnership of philanthropic foundations, employers, and public workforce development agencies to identify the region’s workforce needs, create coordinated and financed solutions, and monitor regional success. A major objective of the SDWFC is to focus on employer engagement by funding job training programs for low wage workers that impact systems change.
