California EDGE - Education, Diversity, and Growth in the Economy - Campaign

The goal of the California EDGE Campaign is policy change and funding increases in support of effective workforce development in California. Currently, the EDGE Campaign is focusing on three main areas of work: advocacy on behalf or its policy agenda; building and mobilizing of its coalition of stakeholders; and media communications in support of advocacy goals. This project will result in workforce development policy improvements and funding changes that expand, support, and increase access to sector initiatives; a successful transition from an ad hoc advocacy effort into a permanent campaign focused on policy change; and earned media in strategic markets that communicates the campaign’s goals of increased funding for, and policy attention to, effective workforce development.
