Incumbent Worker Training for Advanced Materials Manufacturing in the York Area

This labor-management partnership has a steering committee composed of several of the regions largest and most respected metalworking firms, as well as the South Central WIB, MANTEC-IRC, and South Central Pennsylvania Manufacturing Association. The partnership is focusing on providing skill-based training for production and maintenance personnel to upgrade current skills in order to meet manufacturing demands created by the introduction of new technologies. The overall strategy is to foster workforce excellence from the shop floor to the boardroom that promotes innovation while retaining and growing jobs
