Information and Communication Services Industry Partnership

This project will create the Greater Philadelphia Information and Communications Services Industry Partnership that will be comprised of key industry leaders, workforce and economic development organizations, and academic institutions to explore this targeted industry further and identify the future employment needs within the industry.

The goals are to:

• Determine strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for growth in Information and Communications services industry;
• Identify the workforce skills needed by the region;
• Develop a plan to provide incumbent and new workers with the needed skill sets;
• Develop a plan for recruiting young talent; and
• Develop a process to evaluate the progress and measure growth of the industry.
