PRECET Partnership

The PRECET Partnership is a regional early childhood education and training partnership that includes the United Child Care Union, Brightside Academy, Delaware County Intermediate Unit Head Start, and the Pennsylvania Home-based Child Care Provider’s Association. The Department of Public Welfare has an initiative called Keystone Stars, designed with early learning standards for pre-kindergarten. This partnership will address the current skill gaps by developing training and education opportunities that are aligned with industry recognized and transferable credentials (i.e., child development associate). So far, PRECET has trained 306 employees.
