Third Annual Evaluation of the National Fund

The reach and impact of the National Fund continues to grow, according to the finding of the Third Annual Evaluation Report.

The findings of this independent evaluation show that despite the poor economy, the National Fund continues to make progress towards its goal in organizing, supporting, and developing a national network of funding collaboratives dedicated to investing in workforce partnerships that help low-income individuals obtain and advance in careers and ensure employers high-quality human resources.  Since the launch, more the 18,000 workers have received services from over 80 workforce partnerships, with over 5,000 placed in jobs.  More than 300 local funders and 2,000 employers have participated in National Fund programs.

Damian Thorman, chair of the National Fund Investor Committee, and Fred Dedrick, executive director, spoke about the National Fund's impact and the Evaluation's findings.
